So how did your rebuild go?

I was able to find the cylinder rebuild kit from LS dealer at around $80, says all four cylinders use the same kit....so I am taking mine to local hydraulic shop to see if they are a common and can score them slightly cheaper.

HOLY S!!!!! I got the parts drop shipped from LS to house since dealer is 2 hours away....$93!

Packet is marked
SL21CRK
Spirit 2 x 1 1/4

Tried to cross reference, no luck....open packet and found the cup number and it matched ok, for 9 pieces $93, I am headed to a hydraulic shop next week, 2" x 1 1/4" should be a fairly standard item and I should be able to cross these new ones. I will post update with parts numbers

Sourced the parts locally this week, you can take your cylinder and have them order parts or ask for a 1.25" rod x 2" bore seal kit...each kit was $20

Rebuild time was about 45 minutes, I did it on the tractor ...

I have an LS G3038 with a LL3601 loader and figured i'd share what I found since information for these seems to be hard to come by.

I searched the internet for days. Falling short on my research, I went to my local LS dealer and was told they do not sell a seal kit and they could send them off to be rebuilt or sell me new cylinders for $900 each.

All four of my cylinders are leaking very badly and I did not want to pay large fees for such an easy job of replacing seals. I found the following part numbers for seal kits online, but only found one reseller advertising them, which was on Amazon for $80/each.
Seal Kit Part No. LS3600-SL21CRK or 39001150.

Instead of spending $320 and hoping it was the correct parts, I disassembled one cylinder then took the seal head and piston to two local Hydraulic shops and each one said I would have to leave them and be charged a fee to identify the parts. I then decided I would measure and identify the parts myself as it would end up being a lot cheaper and I want to ensure I have the part numbers for the next time.

After careful measuring and visual comparison to seal options at herculesus. com, I was able to identify all the parts needed for a rebuild. I did find that some other websites sell different brands of seals under different part numbers, using the dimensions can help find a usable part if the retailer you want to use doesn't have some of these parts. Total for all four cylinders was about $130 from Herculesus. This includes larger packages of the o-rings as they do not sell them individually. Also, you will need a U-Seal installation tool($13.12) as you cannot install these stiff u-seals without it.

Awesome info! Thank you for posting your research!

Parts are hard enough to find for these machines. Any help, resources, strategies for research, etc is extremely helpful.

I have had to research seals for all different types of cylinders. Most of the time its easy enough as most of the cylinders are standard sizes (that I've had to deal with). But every once in a while, there is a curve ball thrown in the mix. Like wheel bearings, they are easy when you know the part numbers and sizes, but when you dont... :mur:

Are these the same specs for the LL3106 loader?

My total for one cylinder kit using the above numbers came out to over $90? How did you get four sets for $130?
