Bobcat CT335 SST;FERRIS IS 1500Z 25hp 52"
I'm looking @ the 3616 with and without CAB. This is the first look I have been favoring the Bobcat CT335 without the cab. Please make comments and or suggestions.

thanks Guys/Gals

Well, these tractors are close in the specs. The Mahindra is a bit physically smaller, but weight and lift capacities are close. I think that you can get a better seat as an option with the BC and you can get 2 rear remotes with the BC, only 1 with the Mahindra. The Mahindra has 36HP where as the BC has 38HP. The BC has a bigger fuel tank. I would be setting on them and get a feeling for the controls and which one is more comfortable. How close are they in price?

Both are good tractors and should be pretty much trouble free. I would go with whatever tractor and dealer that I was most comfortable with.

Good luck with your search and let us know what you decide on.

Both are good tractors. The Mahindra 3616, by Mutsubishi as far as reliability plays second fiddle to no one, and that is truth. The Bob Cat by Daedong has its merits, but you are here in the Mahindra forum.

PS: Brian, How do you put on those little smiley faces. I am very computer illiterate.

Galen, when you are making a reply, there are smiley faces at the right of the box that you are making the reply in. At the bottom of the smiley faces there is [more] and if you click on that you will get all the little faces that TBN offers for us to use. Click on a face and it will show up at the last place that you were typing, or place your cursor where you want the face, click and then click on the face that you want and it ends up where you had last clicked. ;)

Thanks for making me laugh though, I am about the last person to ask about how to do something on a computer. I didn't even know how to turn one on :ashamed: until my wife made me get one back in 2004 when I was looking to buy my first new tractor which ended up being my 7520. :cool2:

Hope that this helps, smileys are cool if used properly and not over done as above. ;)

Guess what! It seems easy enough, but I couldn't make it work. Only me.

When you click on the Reply to Thread button,
scroll down and look at additional options. Is the [Disable smilies in text] checked? You don't want that checked if it is.

If that doesn't do it, I am not able to help you, sorry. :(

Hey Mtn Veiw, Thanks a bunch. I'm most comfortable with the BC I've driven them most and only experienced the Mahindra once, it's ride is not as stable seemingly as the BC. This is my first tractor: What is the Rear remotes used for?
Price is about 1K difference with the BC the higher of the 2.

Bob Cats are very nice tractors. you would be happy with either one. The rear remotes are used commonly for Top and Tilt hydraulics for the 3 point hitch. BC has 2 available as an option, The Mahindra only has 1 and is one of their weak spots if you were to ask me.

Maybe you should start a thread over in the BC forum so that you can get some more info on the BCs. Here is a pic of my Mahindra 3215HST with top & Tilt hydraulics for the 3pt hitch. If you are going to do any grading with about any implement, "TnT" is the only way to go.
