1020 w/37 loader
Hello everyone,
I'm a new to this forum. I have a JD1020 with a 37 loader, and I am looking for some parts. I'm looking for the tines p/n C16784 (4) and C16817 (2) and also the bucket extensions, p/n C16785 (2) and AC14581. It would be really sweet If could find a front snow blade. I know what I am asking for is probably impossible, but I wanted to ask.
Thank you for reading my post.

We used to have a #37 loader on a John Deere 1010. When we got it, it had only the basic narrow bucket that you could put tines in or a dirt plate. We priced out new tines and they were $75 each 6 years ago. We ended up making manure tines out of 1" x 1" 1/8 wall square tube and drilled a 3/8 hole in one end to bolt them into the bucket. I only ever bent two, once catching one under a big root and the other turning tightly but still caught a tree with one side. No other damage and to replace them is less then $10.
We built a extension dirt plate for the bucket out of I think 18 or 16 gauge sheet metal the width of the bucket and about a foot folded up 90 degrees on each side. It more than doubled the bucket capacity in dirt or gravel but was rather narrow for snow or anything light and was pretty well bent beyond use after moving 6 yards of gravel and 10 or so of rocks and clay. If I were building another dirt plate extension for it I would go at least 11 gauge (1/8") and put on a stout wear strip on the front edge and sides to keep it from folding up.

Snow blades I would think would not be too difficult to make fit, but I would be very surprised if there was a ready made one out there.

Our 1010 tractor only had manual steering so we took the bucket off except when we were using it. Three pins and the bucket was light enough to move by hand to get the pins in so I never really looked into a quick attach for it. The bucket and roll cylinder position on ours had been monkeyed and welded before we got it so it did not dump the bucket far enough to let sticky clumps fall off when turning manure piles. I am not sure how the roll cylinder was set originally and we never did find a operators manual for it.
