My controls for my 3710 are in need of a semi rebuild. Only problem is I don’t seem to be able to get just the parts, I’m only finding the whole control for like $600. Anyone come up with anything different as a solution? It looks as if i may only need a bushing replacement?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found these two schematics. One is the PN for the whole assembly at $600 and the other breakdown doesn't appear to be my exact assembly looking at my previous pics? I think I am just going to have to pull them apart and either have some new bushings machined or maybe have a buddy 3D print me some?
Any other ideas or experiences/part numbers anyone has found in the past by chance?

Years ago I was too heavy handed with one of the levers on my 3710. I broke a plastic rod connector, rendering the hoe inoperable. Immediately called the dealer who happened to have one in stock. Bargain price, (sarcasm), $45.00. But I'm thankful I didn't wind up in your situation.
By the way, you didn't mention the exact problem you are facing.

The backhoe still operates ok, it is just a sloppy mess at the levers and hard to dig smoothly and efficiently. I am afraid if I keep using it like this I will break something in there. I don't use it alot, so I am kinda baffled why it went bad so quick? I haven't taken it apart yet but I am assuming the bushings are plastic, not brass or something durable? Which brings up another question. If I have my buddy machine me some new bushings, do you think Brass would be ok to use, or should I have him make me 5 sets out of plastic? :sneaky:
