JD 3720 CAB
My 3720 Cab got delivered yesterday. As promised here are some pics. I got too put about 2 hours on it yesterday. I hooked up an old 5' howse brush hog too it. Wow what a machine! Not once did I get poked, scratch or have to duck any prickers. It was great! The funny thing was when I got off the tractor I instinctively started to pat and wipe myself off. I made myself chuckle a little bit over that one. I also took my kids for a ride. It was nice to be able to talk to them and not have to shout at each other or slow the machine down too hear. At times I wished the radio was already installed because it is so quiet in the cab. Thankfully there is that wonderful turbocharger noise. The radio will be a good rainy day project anyway. One thing I'm going to try to change is the function of the top n tilt. Right now it's setup so that moving the Loader joystick left and right moves the top link and forward and back control the tilt. I know, I know BOO HOO for me. I think if I change the lines at the back of the tractor the functions should be swapped. Right??? Anyway I'm still waiting for my pallet forks and box blade. Maybe by the end of the week. Also waiting for drive over MMM. Maybe mid summer. I hope I don't cave;)

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh...................... that new tractor smell !!!

Yes, swapping the lines around will change the top link to move with the forward/back on the joystick.

Congrats......she sure is beautiful!

Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

Is that Top N Tilt a factory option? If so, what did it add to the tab?

It's a dealer installed option. The price was $880.00 for top n tilt plus another $1150.00 for the electric diverter. My dealer gave me 20% off, so the total is $1624.00. I was told it took a full day to install the tnt kit. Still a big ouch but well worth it in the long haul. IMO

Sure looks good, I'm thinking real hard about adding the T-N-T to my tractor after seeing yours. Whereabouts are you in Rockford?

Nice country out there, I've ridden my bike past your house many times.

I'm on the other side of town, in a little development on the corner of Chandler and Herrington , if you are my age and grew up in Rockford you would know the location as the "Turkey Shoot":D

Are you one of those crazy guys who ride their bikes three wide, in the road, in the snow, in the dark, with the little flashlights strapped to your heads? If so, I apologize for almost killing you. But you guys need to learn some road etiquette. If only for your own safety. Buy the way I'm 32. Thanks for the replies.

JS can you list what your unit is equipped with?
Nice pics, nice unit, congrats - I am almost finished negotiating for a 3320 Cab - Am considering going to a turbo (plus $1800 for a 3520) but that would drop one implement off of the current purchase - probably the loader:eek:, i do have a dirt scoop! LOL! MMM would stay - talked myself out of a flail mower.

It's a 3720 deluxe cab w/air ride(includes rear work lights, rear wiper, mid pto, rear scv's) ehydro, loaded R3 turf tires, automotive cruise w/ load match speed match, and upgraded motion match switch, horn kit, electric diverter, tnt, deluxe hood guard, mirror kit, Radio and speaker kit which I'm going to install myself. 73" hd bucket on a 300cx loader, 60" frontier box blade, frontier pallet forks, and I'll be getting a drive over 72" mid mount mower when they are released. Total with tax was just shy of $39,000 less $10,000 for my 2000 4100hst with loader and 60"mmm. So about $28,000 otd. Oh and I forgot 1 free hat. It's a lot more than I ever thought I'd spend on a tractor, but I know that my 4100 more than earned it's keep so I'm expecting the same from this unit.

I am looking hard at a 3320 Cab, and I am glad you did provide what you have on it. I totally forgot to look into what is standard on the 3320 CAB in the way of cruise and motion match. I am trying to get a good deal on adding in the Rear wiper and lights.

do you know if Motion Match is standard or if that requires purchasing the switch and installing it?

Another question regarding "electric diverter, tnt", what are some good uses for those two options?

FYI; am thinking of installing a Sirius Satellite Radio on mine - using my existing portable radio just for grins to see how well it works between the trees. Should be okay as I have units that work inside my garage with the door shut and the signal is actually strong enough to punch through the door. As long as I don't have too many trees between me and the LOS signal, I probably will be okay - well that is what my ~30 years of working in the satellite industry is telling me. I have used this before on my 4310 with the antenna stuck on the ROPS and it actually worked pretty well where in my yard and I have 70 - 100 foot trees in patches and they are definitely inbetween me and the sat signal which is being transmitted from satellites orbiting on the equatorial band. But I got signal with very few interrupts:)
Sorry I went off on a tangent here and got long winded.

I believe that motion match is standard on the 3000 series. The upgrade allows you set a maximum speed your tractor will reach. Can someone else comment on this? I used this feature yesterday while brush hogging hilly terrain and near the wood line. Definitely helps with the pucker factor. Don't want to hit the cab on low limes. As far as TNT its primary use for me will be grading work and maintaining a dirt bike track for my kids on their little ttr50's. I've also found that it helps hooking up attachments, especially if they are not level. Radio wise I'm just going to get a am/fm cd unit. Just want something to listen to. My wife calls the tractor my escape pod. Hummm Maybe I'll get one of those flip down tv's with the dvd player and an in motion satellite dish for the roof.:D

There is a big group that rides out of Townsend Park but I'm not part of it usually it is 2-3 in my group and we don't ride tree wide but we will ride two wide as the law permits . If we get approached by a car we Will move over , the other group usually won't.

Yes you are correct, I spoke with a dealer today about that. He indicated that when you upgrade to the auto cruise option, you get the upgraded Motion Match switch.

I looked at my invoice. The auto cruise w/upgraded motion match cost $89.00 minus 20%= $72.20. A fairly reasonably priced option.

So I wonder if this means the 3000 series Cabs aren't compatible with the 448 equivalent Cab Backhoe? Because if I were to buy one, I really would rather have the 448 equivalent backhoe. Does anybody know for sure if this is no longer true that the 3000 series cabs aren't compatible with the 8.5' Backhoe?
