- JD3720 Cab, 300X loader with 4-in-1 bucket
Before I go to the dealer and try to make this a warranty issue, I'd like to make sure it's not actually an operator error. It's a 3720 cab model with eHydro, Load Match, Motion Match, automotive style cruise control. I have the Load Match workin' fine, cruise control too. Motion Match however, is being a PITA. Biggest problem seems to be that it's a 2011 model, and there have clearly been changes to the cab layout made since the operator manual was written. I've followed the limited Motion Match instructions in the manual, with no satisfaction. And my dealer so far hasn't impressed me in knowing much about 3000 series operation. So I'm kinda wingin' it here.
Tractor was delivered with Motion Match set to 5 (mid scale). I'm in 1 now. Problem is that it doesn't make a lick of difference where I set the Motion Match on the 1 to 9 scale. Nothing changes. Whether going forward or in reverse, as soon as I take my foot off one of the go pedals - the tractor lurches to a halt. When running with cruise control, as soon as (a) hit a pedal, (b) tap the brakes, (c) change directions, or (d) disengage the cruise control switch - the tractor lurches to a halt. And the lurch is sudden enough to where the R1 tires actually tear up the pasture sod. When doing so at 17mph on the highway is a bit unnerving too.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is this something I should bring to the attention of the dealer?
