65" this one or this one. Sort of depends on you ground and terrain, 6 footer at the max if you have flat ground, otherwise the 65" is all you want. ;)

Brian, neither dirt dog or A&B appear to sell direct or have west coast dealers. Where can one actually get one? :D

I'm still diligently scouring Craigslist but haven't found 'the one' yet. There is a place in Victorville that may have one, but its quite a drive when I'm not sure.

I have a 3720 with loaded R-4s and have a 72" medium duty Frontier BB2172. It works quite well with that set-up. I can pull a full load of dirt that pushes it way under the tractor. Even this heavy of one will bend if you hit a stump under a lot of torque and speed. If I had to do it again I would get a 72" heavy duty one.

I have a Bush Hog Roll Over Box blade. RO72 My land is almost like a pool table and even at that I can quite easily "over dig" and really pull the tractor down. Actually what happens is the tractor stops moving, the tires are slowly spinning and I have a HUGH mound of dirt behind the tractor with a box blade somewhere under the mound. I have the ToP part of top & tilt and find using that as I dig will control "over digging" well. I'm getting better with the box blade but have a ways to go before I'll achieve proficiency. With the FEL & Rimguard filled tires the Kubota weighs 9630 lbs across the grain scales.

Dave, see if you can get a picture of the one in Victorville. Otherwise you just have to keep looking. Probably not worth the cost to get a new one shipped here from the East. (wouldn't cost anything to check though):( Unfortunately you may have to go with a std type BB if a ROBB cannot be found. They use to be on CL around here all the time, but I guess not anymore, I quit looking a long time ago. ;)

I wrote Dirt Dog, got this reply: "The only dealer I have in California is in Sonora (roughly 450 miles). We also manufacture the RO650 for Bush Hog so any of their dealers would be able to help you."

No price info yet, but looking into it. And going to try to get a pic of what is in Victorville.

I've got this old 72" Gannon beast with hydraulic scarifiers on it. It will stop my Kioti DK50SE in its tracks, especially with the rippers down. My tractor is at least 1,000 pounds heavier than yours, and I wouldn't want to pull it with anything less than I have.

Update: Email from A&B - since they don't have a dealer in this area they will sell direct. $1,361 for BLR55, $1,637 for BLR70. Plus freight from Tennessee.

Better price than Dirt Dog and a bit heavier.

BLR55 for sure if the CL units don't pan out. That seems like a smokin price to me.:thumbsup::thumbsup: Double check on shipping costs to a freight terminal in Kearny Mesa. It actually may not even be worth the trouble of pursuing the CL units. :confused3:
