3725 Third function hydraulic

Spent about an hour today picking up a couple of rocks with my stock bucket on my FEL. Became apparent I'm going to need a grapple and a third function hydro control.
Any tips or suggestions on the third function? OEM or third party? Assume there is a way to put it in/on the fender mounted joystick but not sure how.
Any advice much appreciated!

The factory kit is a diverter instead of a true third function. There are plusses and minuses to each. It has a replacement joytstick handle that has the switch in it. Same shape but made from hard plastic.
If you get a generic kit or make your own as many people have done, and want a clean install of the switch in the joystick you'll need to buy an alternate handle that has a place for the switch. A few people have cut their factory handles and stuffed a switch in them but with ours being a sort of soft material I'm not sure that'd be durable.

I'm still operating my EA grapple using a 3rd rear SCV which is mounted on the fender. Not as good as a diverter/3rd function but the lever's a lot closer to the joystick than the factory remote levers next to the seat.

Travis, the WR Long is popular with your customers partly because it is what you offer. Also, it is one of the only 'all-inclusive' DIY kits available.

Neither of those makes it a really good piece of equipment, but with enough sweat and extra purchased parts I think I may be able to get it installed. I still won't like it, but function means more than liking it.

Travis, does your WR Long custom kit come with brackets and fittings to match the Branson 20/25 series? From watching the video I thought that fitting it to the tractor was up to the purchaser.

Yes, the kit comes will the necessary brackets and fittings to fit the particular tractor/loader. You'll just be responsible for install and will not need purchase extra parts.

What is a SCV? Would you mind posting a pic of your install - lever, fender, etc?

Selective Control Valve. Often called a remote.

Here's a pic of the third SCV on the fender. The valve is one of those that lets you put the handle at different positions.
