I've been considering a Pat's Quick Hitch but, before I spend the money I sure would like to hear directly from at least one 3830 owner if this would present me with any problems with the 3 pt implements I use frequently. They are: 1. A Woods 72" Brush Hog - will the PTO shaft extend far enough to make proper connection? And, will I have to replace the factory top-link with a longer one? 2. A Woods 72" BB. 3. A Woods PHD.
For the BB and PHD is the factory top-link long enough?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Since your L3830 will have the extendable lower links and quick adjust sways, the value of the "Pats EZ hitch" is certainly less then if those items where the standard type. A PHD will rwquire that you remove the top link altogether. That in my opinion is where in installing the PHD ends up being the most difficult anyway. I find that with the mower and my box blade, Kubotas quick connect works quite well so I never looked into Pats system. I think that you won't be adding any appreciable length because I think you need to remove the exisiting Kubota connector and replace it with Pats. The PTO shaft on your mower should easily be able to accomodate a few inches in length if such ends up being the case.
PS, I have HST which makes hooking up the implements a real snap.
