Well, my '88 3910 MFWD just started making a crunching-sorta-grinding noise when the front wheels are engaged. It's not super loud yet; still hard to isolate above the noise of the engine, but it's definitely there.
What's the best way to figure out where it's coming from? Jack up the front wheels and turn by hand, I assume?
Any other thoughts on where to go with this?
