3910 PTO won't engage

While bush hogging, I ran over a piece of metal and now the pto won't operate. Also, there is hydraulic fluid leaking from underneath. Is this a seal or something sheared? How hard is it for me to fix myself?

Hydraulic controlled PTO won't work without the proper quantity, quality and type of hydraulic oil in the rear axle center section. As for the leak, you are going to have to bend over and/or crawl around and figure out where the leak is. That isn't something we can see through this website.

The leak is coming from the front of the transmission right behind the oil pan. It started when I hit the metal. There was a little vibration from the pto area when it hit.
