Forrest:

3930's have been out of production for about 2 years now. If it is a new one it has been sitting on the dealers lot for a long time. For the same money you can get into a new TN65 which is the replacement for the 3930. The 30 series is/was a very good design and their is really nothing wrong with them. The TN's are a newer design and are more comfortable to operate and have better visability. I would not even consider a 2wd with a loader. Just my opinion, but with a loaded bucket your back tires will be dancing/spining a little too much to be very useful. The front assist pulls you through those situations. Depending on your intended use the 2wd 3930's have a slight traction problem when pulling implements such as a 10' disc through a freshly plowed field. Heavily loaded hay wagons can push it around as well. Good luck with your decision.

FORREST: not to familar with that model, but to the part about 2wd as compared to 4wd, don't even consider 2wd(in my opinion) especially with a loader. i t is amazing the difference in traction. with 2 wd if u off load the back tires u are in trouble.

I am not sure about the New Holland (Ford) 3930 being discontinued. It is still listed as a new model on New Holland's website. I have a '94/95' model with 660 hours on it. It's loaded with practically all of the available options...8 speed syncho trans with shuttle, deluxe hydraulics, 2 remotes, front suitcase weights, ROPS, etc. The paint is perfect. Not a scratch on it. Tires close to 100%. Most hours running an irrigation pump. Book is around $15K. I will take $12500.

The 3930 has been out of production for a couple of years now. I can't explain why the NH website still lists the 3930 and 4630, both have been replaced by TN's.
