3PH arms hit rear tires

I had the exact same problem when my 2520 arrived. After some investigating, I found the turnbuckles were not centered. In other words, the one end was screwed all the way in and was bottomed out while the other end still had threads left. I removed the turnbuckle and then started the threads at the same time. This then provided me enough movement that the arm no longer rubs the tire.

I've got the same problem on my JD 790 but the turnbuckles are as tight as they go and they still rub both tires with my box or disc. I can only put the chains in the first holes because the lift arms only fit in the third hole and cover the second hole when it is lifted up.

The Dealer is no help.

While mounting the MMM yesterday I learned that the brackets the mower hangs off of on the rear also limit the distance the TPH arms can move towards the tires. This was not apparent without the mower as the brackets are somewhat triangular in shape and had rotated such that they had no contact with the TPH arms. I am thinking these brackets replaced the turnbuckles when the mower was put on??

Did you see my post above about reversing the pins on the implement? That solved this issue for me.

thanks, yes I did but whereas that makes the setup narrower it doesn't prevent it from swinging as as whole unit. What I need is attachment points for my stabilizer chains that are in line with the pivot point of the lift arms. So far I haven't been able to find any.
thanks .....
