Hey all,

My 3130 3ph has a Woods medium blade on it and periodically when it is in the raised position, while I'm using the loader, the blade feels like it drops slightly and then is stopped /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. You can feel it while you're in the seat and can hear a thump at the same time. Normal or what?

Thanks.

Do you have position / depth control on your tractor? Might be that the position sensor is keeping it up. But it shouldn't drop just because you're using your loader. I see you have another post about a hydraulic leak - sounds like you have an "issue" /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif...

I may have misled a little when I said it happened while using the loader. What I meant to convey is that it happens when the blade is in the full up position while the tractor is not using it. It happens when travelling (with or without a load in bucket), and when the tractor is not moving with the loader in carry or lowered to ground. I've even heard it when i'm off the tractor checking the work area. I've not actually seen it drop per se. Since it feels and sounds just like when the blade or loader is raised or lowered then stopped I can only guess it is hydraulic and 3ph. The position control knob is always in the bottom most position (all the way down).

Could this be normal? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
