I have inherited a Mitsubishi Satoh 630 Bull that the 3 point hitch doesn't seem to go up as high as it should. It is not low on fluid and the FEL works fine. The upper arms will go to slightly above horizontal with the hydraulics. I tried lifting them by hand and they would go to 45 degrees or more. When I left go they lowered slightly, but not back to the original position until I put all my weight on it. Now, when I lower and raise them, they go to horizontal, then slowly drift up to about 30 degrees, but putting weight on will lower them to a little above horizontal.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Try turning the descent valve knob counter clockwise all the way.

Lower the 3pt lever to about 3/4.

Lower the 3pt lever to about 3/4.

I'm a bit confused. How will this help raise the 3PH?

If this valve is screwed in all the way, will the 3pt move.

The only thing that will raise the 3pt is fluid applied to the 3 pt cyl.

If you open the descent knob all the way and raise the lever, what happens.

If you have a gage, check the pressure at the 3pt or anywhere. If you have pressure and the cyl is good, it should raise.

Do you have a selector switch for 3pt or remote?

If the 3 pt is strong up to the point it stops, then it might be your feel back lever out of adjustment.

With the valve in one direction, the 3PH will raise and lower. With it in the other direction the 3PH will raise but not lower. In both cases, with a load, the upper arms will only go to a little above horizontal.

I don't have a gage so I can't try that but I believe the pressure is good. I have a dirt scoop on it and it will lift it to a few inches above the ground when full. The FEL works with no problems.

I have a lever that has to be in one position for the 3PH and the other for the FEL.

What is the feel back lever and how do I adjust it? Is this an external adjustment that I don't have? The owner's manual says that if you don't want to raise the 3PH all the way then "set the stopper on the quadrant to the desired position, at which the control lever stops, causing the implement to lift not more than the limited position at all times."
