I finally settled on this 3pt adaptor to allow me to hook up a rock rake on my FEL. I'm needing to reach in under trees and brush and pull out debris and prickly pears that would be difficult to otherwise back into with the rake. I've got a Branson quick attach and there aren't too many choices around. Anyway it should be an odd looking contraption when attached. I'll post a pic when I've got it hooked up if I don't get too many LOL's.

Anyone else tried this?

I've heard of folks modifying a Harbor Freight QH to fit on a FEL bucket but haven't seen the full replacement like what the photo appears to be.

Can't really tell from the photo if it is set up with a SS QH system on it. That would make a considerable difference in ease of use.

DeeDubya, that's a nice adapter (also probably expensive) that has sliding lower link lift arm adapters. Mine requires precise spacing and many implements fudge on the specs a bit. I wanted to use my adapter to hook up my dirt scoop to the FEL for cutting swale ditches. Oops! It won't fit. I can modify it, but have not done that yet.

Yeah, pricey, but those DIY projects can add up quickly when you start buying steel and then all the time for cutting/welding. Freight got me here since it ships from Canada (Horst Welding).

I'm also planning to use it with my boom pole to reach farther and higher.

I picked one of these up at a local parts store. My intention was to use it with a three pt. hitch jib boom for putting up my trusses on the shop and the barn. Would have worked great except for the reach. I went and got a Horst welding crane boom instead. Fits right on my "skid Steer" quick attach on my little Case and it extends to 20 feet. I plan on utilizing this adaptor for a landscape rake as well as an old back blade and perhaps an old 3 pt hitch bale spear. Hopefully it's as handy as it's supposed to be!
The 3 pt. adaptor that I have is a speeco and it is set up with hooks and latches so that you should be able to pick up three point implements with your FEL without getting off and messing about. When I try it I'll let you know what I think of it.

I've got a 72" rake and it pivots 360 degrees so I'm planning to push with it as well as reach in under trees and pull stuff out. Two main reasons here. 1) I won't have to twist my neck to see what I'm doing. 2) I won't have to drive over debris and pears in order to rake them.
