Here is the 3pt bucket that I made. It will hold almost a 1/2 yard. I load it up for wt. and then I load my front bucket and I can haul almost a yard at a time. I have been moving alot of dirt and so I am putting it on a road that I built going back to my woods.
The bucket is an old fel bucket that I picked up at auction and I welded the top link bracket on and use my hyd toplink with it. I digs real good and it will dump good to. It was a trial and error to find the right point to place the bracket to make it dig and dump properly.

Great job! Looks like it was made for the 3ph, and I guess it was.

Thanks for the pictures, I was wondering how to make something simple and you have provided. I am going to make some trails through my wooded areas and this fits the bill perfect. Much simpler than hooking up wagon, going to pile, unhook wagon to load, rehitch and snake thru woods, dump and get stuck between trees trying to turn around, well you get my picture. Thanks again for the great insight and ideas this forum provides.

Try and find a bucket that is deep and not tall as it works better filling and empting it. a tall one wouldn't fill as easy and would take more power. Also you will have to do the trial and error thing to find the right spot to put the top braket so you can dump and fill.
If you don't have the hyd toplink look for one that has alot of travel as that gives you more leaway on placement of the bracket.
Good luck, it was quite and easy project and I have used it alot already.
