3pt hitch lift question for implement I'm buying

Hi I have a jd4066r it says it can lift 3130lbs at link ends at 2500lbs 24inches back. Looking at buying a genesis drill 5ft wide and it weighs 2600lbs. Do you think I'll be ok?

The empty drill weighs 2,600 pounds. How many pounds of seed will you be adding to it? Will it carry any fertilizer?

Your lift spec 3,130/2,500 pounds is for a new tractor. Over years TPH lift capacity will decline due to wear, tear and increased friction within and between components. I do not know what decline would be reasonable but it will be fairly proportional to the years your JD has been in service.
( Perhaps 5% to 10% decrease? ~~ speculation on my part. )

Probably 100lbs at most of seed at a time

I have a roller that weighs over 2600 lbs. and can handle it pretty well with my 4520 cab tractor 2009 year. If you are not running down the road in high range you should be okay.

Does it pick the roller up with no problem?

Yes, don't think I have a picture of it up but I was able to transport it to a few jobs so far. Loading tractor and roller on my trailer I did roll it up the ramps felt that would be safer. I should mention this is with 420 lbs. of front weight not with a fel. With a fel and the increased weight you should be in good shape.
