Howdy All -
First off - thanks to everyone who posts here. This forum has been a great place to learn from the experience of others:thumbsup:

I am looking at getting a different tph snowblower for my 2520. I had picked up an old (1976) 66" Loftness snowblower - the price and condition (almost like new) was too good to pass up - but would like to get a newer (and probably) narrower one. The way this winter is going it looks like there should be a surplus of snowblowers come this spring.

I know the first recommendation will be to get the 54" front mount - which would be great - but I don't want the hassle of switching between it and the fel.

What tph snowblower (width and brand) is everyone else using on their 2520?

Thanks!

Hiya,

I had a 5 foot on my 2520, worked very well except my neck couldn't take the twisting any more so I ended up going with a front bower for my new 3320 cab setup.

Switching between the loader and blower/blade is easy after you do it a couple times. Honestly I have used a rear 3pt blower for 30+ years, after a while you will not look forward to using it. if at all possible, I suggest getting the front blower setup.

My 2 cents,

Tom

I have the 54" front mount and the 200cx. Changing from on to the other is no big deal. Remove a few pins, drive shaft and uncouple the hoses. I would say this can all be done in less than 10 minutes.

I had a 51" Kubota on mine. The tractor had to much power for this little blower. 60 would be the best I think? Also the bigger the fan the happier you will be.

54" Frontier rear mount on mine - purchased the 2520 and all attachments in 2011. Works great; albeit, I have only had it out twice this year due the lack of snow up here in the frozen wastelands. With the power up, the blower easily throws the snow 15' or more.
