3pt hitch

I can't find a stock attachment to do what I need, so I have decided to build my own design. What I need to know are the dimensions of a Cat1, 3 pt hitch? I need the following dimensions: width between the lower pins, height from lower pins to the top link, and if the bottom pins are forward (behind or even) with the top link if you are viewing from the side of the machine. I realize there is adjustability in the 3pt set up and I will probably need it to fine tune. Any insight would be appreciated.

Generally the height from lower pins to the top link is about 19". That could vary depending on the implement. The top link is usually directly above the lower arms but that position also may change per implement. See attached for Catagory specs. What is it you need to do that you can't find a stock attachment for.

I need to screed out fine gravel to prepare for interlocking stone. The tolerance we try to achieve is 1/8" over 10'. Thanks for the info, I'll be certain to post some pictures once I build it.

This can be a little bit of a pain in the neck to look up....
But it is well worth finding and saving a copy to your hard drive....

The info in the links already provided is good info, but not quite complete enough,
depending on the type of implement you intend to build.... If you implement is going to use the pto,
some other dimensions will come into play...

For instance, cat 1 is 26" wide, and 18" high to the top link is the standard...
The top link can be as low as 15" depending on application...
