3pt king kutter brush hog

I have a 3pt brush hog that i was thinking about converting to work on my skid steer. I dont know how well the mower would work going backwards? I know i can open up the tail to allow me to cut wider. I also know i would have to change the pto 90 degree gear box over to something for hydro. I can get a ssqa plate that has the 3pt connections on it.

It was just something that i was kicking around in my head. My 3pt went out on my tractor and havnt had the time or the want to rip the rear end apart to fix it. Being i very rarely had a need for one. Figured i could save my self alot of money being i already have a rough cut mower.

You'd need a 3-point adapter like this:

You'd need a motor like this one, rated at 35 HP at 600 RPM:
Surplus Center - 7.63 CU IN PTO DRIVE MOTOR

It already has a PTO splined shaft. Figure out a way to bolt the motor to the mount and run some hoses and you're done. Conceptually it's very easy. Very curious to see what details I'm missing.

i think i would have to rebuild the 3pt on the mower, mine is bent to **** and i dont know if a 35hp is going to be big enough. My cutter was rated for 60pto hp, it will take 3+ inch trees. I will have to do some looking in to it. Also i would have to cut the back under the deck to allow a larger opening. Put chains on the front to keep it from kicking stuff in to the skid steer
