Was having problems with 3pt lift not working, repaired all seals in box under the seat, repaired joy stick valve, repaired manifold block seals and prior to doing all that the front end loader worked just fine. Now the 3pt lift works just fine but the front loader won't even attempt to move. Anybody got any suggestions?

Motis I had a similiar issue with my 1710. The loader control lever was so sloppy I had to take it apart and retighten it. In order to do that I loosened the 3 bolts holding the control level to the tractor. For some reason, if the control lever isnt rebolted just so, the loader won't move. While idling the 1710 I tried the lever, once the bucket moved I tightened the bolts, its been fine since.

Is the manifold block you repaired on the right side below the foot rest. If so this is a diverter valve.this directs part of the hyd, oil to the loader and part to the TPH. Some are adjustable and some are pre set. If you didn't get it back together right this could be your problem.

Yes that is where it is and the only adj. that I could see was some washers under the big spring. In the schematic under the washers it stated AR and I assumed it meant as req. They were in there when I took it apart so I put them back when I inspected it. I had a schematic when I put it back together so I am pretty sure I did it right. Could the front loader system possibly need priming sinse I drained it to inspect all the components and to replace seals? The 3pt works fine now though.

not sure on that one.. but some have a screw type diverter.. it had to go back in the same orientation... or be set to the same orientation.. etc.

there is a screw in the side of the diverter block it must be set one way for the PTO and the other for the loader. It isw a ball valve. They cannot both be operated at the same time.
