3pt Mixer ??

Is anyone familiar with a 3pt cement mixer? The below link looks interesting and I'm just trying to see if anyone has used one?

Be easier than using a wheelbarrow for mixing... but not as easy as ready mix. Never used one of these since I prefer the ready mix quality that is available here and everywhere CC is needed at my place is accessible to the mixers (though I have gone to 5 chutes at times). Unit would probably be useful if you need just a little CC out somewhere far from electricity, or difficult to access.

They should have cleaned up the translation, and said how many cubic M (or cubic ft) it does of CC at one time.

Don't forget to bring enough water to flush the thing if you use it way out somewhere to fill fence post holes, otherwise you'll have to unbolt all those bolts and start chipping.

I have a similar mixer and have used it for a not so small pour. My big gripe is that the cylinder to dump was single acting. I replaced it with a double acting cylinder, much better control. Also the pto shaft gets pretty short on dump and if your not careful you can get it in a bind. If I position the drum where it holds the most ( one 90lb sack of cement and the appropriate amount of sand and gravel) then It doesn't have the range on the toplink to dump completely. If I position it so I can dump cleanly I can only mix about half the former amount. Still better than a wheelbarrow and I can mix at a remote site and drive to the pour. If I only had a top cylinder that extended about 6 inches longer but retracted to the same length I would think Everything was perfect. I think his price is fair, I paid that much for a newly used one.

Just did 3 sauna tubes and filled with ready mix. I just poured cement into bucket with the PHD on the 3PH. The mixer would be nice as stated, for larger pours, but this worked perfectly. ps. Never better advise than to have a water source or available water close by. Luckily I read this first so I brought another bucket with clean water just for tool and bucket cleaning.
