3PT on FX20D

Hello all,
I'm a newbie here and just purchased a FX20D. I purchased an operation manual and parts manual from Hoye Tractor. I had no problems for the first couple of hours and now have found that the 3PT is limp! It no longer functions! I've tried the position control and the draft control with no results. I have also played with the "stop/speed" valve with negative results. Can someone point me in the right direction, and give me some advise. I hope I haven't spent my money on just a FEL!

If you purchased the tractor from a dealer contact them. Check the oil level in the trans. wen a fel is installed the oil level sometines needs to be higher then if no fel.

I agree with Normm, talk to your dealer. You may want to check your hydraulic filter (screen??).

Does your dealer offer any warranty or after sales support?

Nice tractor! I just picked up the same tractor two weeks ago. I just started changing the filters and fluids. My 3 point seemed a little sluggish too. I found a leak where my FEL was hooked up I fixed that and it seems to be working better. Good Luck.

I want to thank all of you for your assistance ( Normmm, mark777 and luddy). No I did not purchase this unit from hoye tractor, they helped me with additional filters and manuals. I found this unit at auction here in Phoenix. Used tractors in this area are hard to find and are priced $2,000 to $4,000 more than east of New Mexico. After a few phone calls, I went back a tightened and loosened the "stop/speed" valve several times and it's started working again..... It appears as though there may be an issue in that valve with an "0-ring" or something...I'm happy to say that everything is functioning correctly at this point....
