Interesting note. If you purchase the vertical exhaust, you have to remove the stack before you can open the hood. That would be a PIA I think. Having to remove a very hot exhaust pipe to open the hood, if you needed to get under there before it cools down.

Why are you posting this? its been on john deeres site for about a month now and is in many other topics LOL
You had to remove it on the 20 series anyway, its not hot because of the shroud around it...

Yeah pulling the pipe off to raise the hood isn't new, heck my 93 model 2355 you had to as well.

I see that on the Deere "Build your own John Deere" site that they list the H180 loader for the 4044R, 4052R, 4066R, as well as for the 4120-4720 models. So one would suspect that the announcement for the replacement 4000 series tractors is just around the corner.

Yep. John Deere refreshed the highest selling models first, makes sense. The 2 and 3 series outsell the 4 series by a long shot.

I like the hood and headlights but boy am I glad I got the 3320 with the pre tier 4 filter stuff on it.

Amen on having the pre tier 4 engine. The only differences I'm seeing are the lights and JD emblem up front. They painted the frame green now but it doesn't look like they changed it. The loaders look exactly the same but they have new designations. I do like the new look but not enough to trade my 3520.
