Here's my version of the 3rd function or aux valve for my ct230 with the 7tl loader. My cost so far is around $250.00. I wanted to keep the system basic, easy to remove, and I wanted to avoid cutting the wiring harness. Since I'll be removing the loader often, its needed to be easy to disconnect the wiring and hydraulics.

Here's some pics of the parts used. The selector valve came from surplus center. ( p/n: 9-5117) The 2 hoses are 32" long ans have -6 jic female ends on both.

The plumbing of the hydraulics are very simple. I disconnected the top 2 lines on the loader arm. (The top line is to extend for the bucket and the bottom for retract) and routed 2 new lines (32" long with female -6 jic ends) to the selector valve 2e / 2r.

1e and 1r are my new aux ports for the attachment.

On the other side of the valve, the 2 lines I disconnected from the loader arms got reconnected to VE and VR. ( Top line on loader to VE, bottom line to VR ) They still have the factor quick connects on one end and haven't been altered, just relocated.

The selector valve along with the hydraulic lines will stay with the loader when disconnected. So I figured the best way to have a quick wiring harness would be to use a trailer wiring harness. When I remove the loader, all i have to do is unplug it for the connector. For 12 volt power and ground, I soldered a lead to a fuse and used the mounting screw for a ground. I added a new fuse holder with a smaller fuse to protect my new wiring. Unlike others, I mounted the switch on the dash next to the tilt wheel lever, instead of on the joystick.

It works!

I still have to run the aux lines down to the bucket. But for now, I have a loop installed so I don't accidentally throw the switch and loose my fluid. I need to decide what type of quick connect to use.. next pay

I like the "Ben's Cat" sticker on your loader, where did you get it at? It looks like it was meant to be there!

What do you plan on using this 3rd function for. I am just curious. I have a 230 also and checked into getting the front aux kit till I found out the price and also found out it seems like the pump doesn't put out enough pressure to run much.

Is you switch a self centering switch or just a 3 way on off on?
I would think you would want it on the joystick it is much more comfiee than reaching all the time.

The switch is a 3 way, on off on. I couldn't find the proper relay locally to convert a smaller push button to work. I agree on the switch placement, I'll just have to wait till I can come up with the proper parts and mounting idea. Something unplanned I found out, it makes a simple anti-theft device. I'm in the process of building a grapple for the bucket, and have a idea to build a cement mixer driven by a hydraulic motor.

As for the sticker, made it myself...... I have too many toys, per my wife.

Be careful you don't bump the switch on..You will dead head the hydraulics and burn up your pump.
You can get a angle switch from a Meyer plow and that has a return to center.
How about one of these handles for $79.00 plus shipping
