Does anyone out there have power beyond and the rear remote (3rd SCV) on a older say 4200,4300 or 4400? I noticed there are 2 extra holes in the power beyond plate, is that for the rear SCV? I just bought the kit and want to make sure it will go there because there is no where else. This is for the "00" series JD compacts, mine is a 4300. I know on the newer "10" series the remote is close to the rear fender and not mounted in the center.

I just did the 3rd scv on my 4310 and yes there was a bracket on the fender, I also have the pby and it only has 1 extra hole, I thought 4300 was very similar, if you just bought the kit what does it say or come with?
JB.

this is what's involved, there is a reason these things are compact, everything is squeezed in!!!

Well that depends on what vintage your pwr beyond and your 3rd scv are.If there both the same vintage ,yes they use the same bracket.JD changed them ,and both new and old are available for the "00" series from JD.I have a 4300 also that I purchased new with the 3rd scv (old version). Then last year bought the power beyond (new version)and a 447 BH,and out of the box the will not work together (which I asked dealer before purchase, and was told would not be a problem) since they use two completely different brackets that mount on they same spot on tractor (around filler neck). So subsequently I had to cut both brackets and weld them together to make one then slightly bend the 3rd scv lines to make it work.I got a feeling that your going to end up with the same thing only in reverse, because it appears you probably have the old pwer beyond, and posibly the new 3rd scv.

Ok, as you can see my PB is different than the ones shown. I put one of these 3rd SCV kits on my father in law's '00 4200 but he has no PB and the remote is in the center, not by the fender. The last pics shows the 2 extra holes. Should the lines come out in the right place?

You have the same bracket that my 3rd scv originally had, which had the additional 3 holes for the power beyond. So if you get one of the OLD 3rd scv kits ,yes it will work with your bracket. But as you can see from my pic that they completely changed the power beyond kit (and yes my kit came from JD for a 4300 ,but last year not in 2000) and is not out of the box compatable with the old 3rd scv.I really dont know what the new 3rd scv kit looks like for a 4300,but I guessing it will mount off to the side instead of the center (like the newer tractors). If this is the case you should be all right providing there,s no interference with the steel lines (I had some and had to bend them a little, but your doing it the opposite way I did).Good luck let us know how it turns out,I,d be curious to know.

Don't know if it helps or not but here's pics of mine on the 4200.

Mighty Dodge, I think that is what mine should look like when it is done. I know the newer ones and all of the 10 series mounted by the fender. I believe it is the old kit but either way should work, one kit goes to my existing holes or the other goes by the fender right? There is not a different way from that is there?

I'm not sure, I can take more pics of the hydraulic lines. Either way it should work even if you need different hard lines or plumb it up with hose.

If you want you can. What year is yours? My PB looks the same as yours, so if it is the old kit- the bracket is there. Could you measure with a tape the distance from center of the tractor to the centerline of the SCV holes? Mine is 3.5" off center.

I must have got the older kit because everything fit up good to my existing PB plate. A word to the wise, you don't have to take off the loader lines like the book says. It is one less thing to remove and put back on.
