Was there rebar or wire mesh in that slab? I couldn't see any in that first photo.

L225,

Looks great! I'm looking forward to following your progress and the final results.

Things are really coming together!

Please continue to post pictures!

It sounds like your shop is going to be a prefab of some sort?

I didn't see any anchor bolts in your slab. Will they just hammer drill in some anchors after the fact? I'll need to learn a little about that as I didn't put in any anchor bolts for my interior walls in the shop I'm putting up.

You might have a record - from dirt to 5,000+ square feet of living/work space in what, a month!?! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

phantom309,
The shop is a metal arch style building, basically an aircraft hangar. Ths sides come up about 5 feet then half round on top.
Yes, a metal channel gets bolted to the slab with anchor bolts then filled with grout.
All the pipes for office, bath and machine shop are just below the top of the slab for service as funds become available.

The building is still about 2 weeks away from being delivered....

Stay tuned !!

Here is an "air" shot..........

The curved drive at the top of the pic is the east side of my property line....the straight line drive is where the place begins on that side.....

If you look you will see the slab for the 40'x 80' "barn"....

There is a small pond at the back of the house at the right side of the pic.....

Thought you guys might get a kick from this view !!
