4 cylinder chinese diesel generator

Hello everyone.

I have a Chinese 4cyl diesel generator (250 hours) it needs a oil change and I want to use the exact type of oil it needs and one of the best brands in the market.
Could some body tell me what I have to buy.

Any diesel rated oil should work. I would Mobil Delvac 1300 for a Chinese genset. If you wanted a better oil you could use a synthetic, like Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck or Shell Rotella T6.

Agree-any 15W40 oil will be diesel rated(CJ-4 inside the API donut circle)and adequate for your climate.
Synthetic oils for a diesel are typically 5W40,above mentioned brands are excellent.

Howdy,
I see your in Nevada, a standard weight diesel oil that meets the CJ-4 spec will work, like any of the ones mentioned.


I would recommend Deere Plus-50 II 15W-40 Engine Oil

Always have extra oil and filters on hand.
