4 in 1 bucket for 853 FEL with Q/A

Anyone have experience using such a bucket on a loader? I saw one in operation on a Cat skid steer removing an old concrete drive way. It appeared to be effective. My L4330 will have a spare remote to operate the cylinder on the bucket. Comments anyone? pros or cons.... or not worth the hassle....

BTW, how do I enter my equipment line at the bottom of a post as you all have done?

Get a 4in1, you will love it, I sure do… This is on my L4200. KennyV.

4in1 is the handiest attachment you can have with your loader… This is the only small picture that I have of it in use on my tractor. If you do not have a skid steer adaptor, do consider getting one. I have several attachments that I use, BUT the 4in1 is the most used. Well worth the price and no hassle at all.KennyV.

The 4n1 bucket was originally patented by the Drott Corporation back in the 1950's. I have attached one of their early brochures for an International TD6 with the 4n1 Skid Shovel loader.

The 4 functions are bulldozer, bullclam, skid shovel and clam. The brochure explains it much better.

Interest aspects for a loader bucket. Any recommendations for current manufacturers? Are these buckets designed for skid loaders and adapatable by the Q/A function? Price range?

I have not really scuffed the paint much on the new 853 bucket yet, and with the BH90 and remote valves still to be installed by the dealer, I may be able to swap the standard bucket back...or should one have the standard bucket also??

So many "toys" so little time....

Thanks for the info. That is a nice brochure. I'm trying to decide if I can use the 4 in 1 instead of the root grapple. I'm leaning toward the root grapple. However, it appears that those who have the 4 in 1 are really satisfied. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Take a look at www.wrlonginc.com . They offer numbers of different size buckets and also offer the hydraulic kits to make the 4in 1 buckets operate. As for price it will vary by size. A very general range for bucket and hydraulics will be $2000 to $2500.

I would repeat the opinions above. You will find it a very usefull addition. The only drawback is the are a little heavier than the normal bucket so loaders with marginal lift ability may have problems, but that should not bother the 853. I have had two different 4 in 1 buckets the one made by Construction Attachments is far and away the best in function, reliability and customer service.
