40 \" Snowblower for HDS 2155 - take it away, NH
I have a Cub Cadet model HDS 2155 lawn tractor, purchased in 1996 along with a model 190303 40" snowblower. Last summer I acquired a Kubota BX1500 with a 50" snowblower. I'm keeping the Cub Cadet tractor for general use but the Cub Cadet snowblower is surplus and I'd be pleased to give it away to anyone interested in picking it up at my barn in Sharon, NH.
The snowblower was working fine when last used in the winter of 2002-2003. After some serious complaining to the CEO of MTD in 1999 about a long history of the PTO belt jumping off its idler pulley, MTD agreed to upgrade the unit from belt drive to shaft drive. That arrangement has worked well and solved the most serious problem with the machine.
