I goofed and got distracted by the 6 year old, I only pulled one pin and tried to dump the forks off. Now it's a real pain to reattach anything. On examination it appears that the bar that links the two knuckles is broken loose on one side. But not entirely... so the two knuckles are at different angles.

Has anyone had to pull that steel crossbar that links the two sides? Any hints?

I had this problem with my 410 loader, not sure it's the same for you or not...But the round bar that connects the two QA plates is pinned with a 1/4" pin at each QA plate and is really easy to shear. I had mine fixed for less than $1.00. No dis-assembly required, just line the holes up and install new pin.
I can get a picture if you need it...

Update: Well, I was not fortunate enough to have it be just the pin. Nope, I twisted the bar about 20 degrees. I got it mostly back in alignment by blocking the travel of one cylinder and using the other cylinder to twist it back more or less.

That cross bar pin costs $63.30 to replace,I would replace before it breaks.

I would just twist it back like he did. That bar doesn't seem to be anything special. It is too light duty to be of significant use the keep the proper alignment when under any major stress. The other day I stepped on one side of the lift bracket and with my weight I could change the alignment by 3-4". I think that bar is more of a guide to keep the brackets parallel with no bucket or attachment on the loader. Without the bar present, the curl cylinders would work more independantly and make attaching the bucket difficult. The strength really comes from the bucket to keep the bracket in good alignment when doing work.
