4010 Diesel Trans Mule Power Dump?

I'm comparing the Trans Mule Diesel to the Diesel Gator XUV. Anyone have the 4010 trans mule diesel? If so, how do you like it and can the dump be powered or is the only option manual?

I would use it probably 50% work (hauling firewood) and 50% woods/trail riding. (I have a JD3720 for nasty tasks)

I like the 4 seat option and power steering of the mule and it has a turning radius just shy of the XUV. If a power dump is not an option on the mule then I could install temporary jump seats in the XUV (which has better suspension).

I bought the transmule gaser back last March. I ask about the power dump. Dealer said it could be done but required some cutting and welding. Since mine is used mostly for tool and people hauling I decided not to invest in the power dump. I guess I would use it if I had it but its been about a year and I have had no reason to use the dump, so I guess I made the right decision.

It sure does come in handy to go from extra cargo to 4 passenger.

I also bought a diesel trans last fall, I dont believe the hydraulic dump is offered on the trans. I am glad I purchased mine and I believe it will only be a matter of time and a kit will be offered for hyd. dump. Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info. I want to haul firewood and be able to easily dump so there is another point for the gator.

get you a mini van seat from the salvage yard for the xuv they fit right in the bed and they come with their own seat belts too.

Hold on everyone....I have the 3010 Trans mule and there IS a hydraulic dump option available.
It works great, has a HUGE capacity to dump a ton of weight.

No cutting, no welding. It took me about 3 hours to install. I HIGHLY recommend this option. It works!!!!

I just brought home the 4010 gasser with the Kawasaki power dump. It is electric. I loaded it to the hilt with wet wood and it dumped it without a problem. So, it is available from Kawasaki and the dealer can install it.
