I have a show 4010 John Deere 1961 that on the last show ride my power steering when turned to left would almost jerk the steering wheel out of my hands. Any Suggestions. This is a tricycle front end.
Ditto what Rick stated. Not all technicians are experienced in the repair & correct setting of the interior valves in the control valve body. I know of a tech in Ohio that repairs several of those steering valves each month. He constructed a hyd test stand solely to test JD hyd control valves. He accepts ship in//out component. repairs If you want this tech's contact info notify me & I send the info to you.
Jim; I would very much like to have that information. Cost of rebult steering valve assembly is expensive. Thanks for your reply.
