Went to check the engine oil after greasing the entire machine and pulled out the handle without the dip stick attached. First question is has this ever happened to anyone? I know the dip stick is in the oil pan but don't have a clue when it broke off. I had probably run about 10+ hours since the last oil check I have already purchased the new one from the dealer. Next question or concern, I do not want to drop the oil pan to get it out. Is it possible it could damage something really expensive? Like the crankshaft, connecting rod or oil pump or anything else for that matter? I have access to a "snake camera" that I can borrow from work and I am pretty sure I can get it through the drain plug and see if I can locate it. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Also if you have a 4025 look at the dip stick and see if you think the dip stick bonding to the handle (brazed) seems "cheap" to you. I am leaning toward the cheap on that one.
