Those of you who have a 4035 with the HST, can you comfortably run a 6' bush hog? Seems like it might be pushing it a bit with just over 30 hp at the PTO.

The 4035 HST will run a 6' cutter with ease.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a 5035HST (should be here this week). But, now this begs the next similar question. Will the 5035 pull a 7'er easily. Seems like it will to me but a dad with my date has me wondering if anyone is doing this. I found a used 7' that seems like a pretty god deal.

I have been told that an 8' twin spindle actually runs easier than a single spindle 7', Of course it depends on what you are cutting, but I had a customer that mowed state lands with a Mahindra 4025 with a 8' cutter. He is the one that told me that the 8' runs easier than the 7'.
