4035, Steering Wheel Pedal Spring or Differential Pedal Spring Replacement

Both my steering wheel adjustment pedal and my differential lock pedal springs have quit working. They look like some sort of cam. Has anyone tried to replace theirs, or is this better left up to the dealer??

The steering wheel has a gas strut that moves the colum up and down the diff lock can be cleaned and adjusted

the gas strut is not the problem, it is locking it into place that is the problem, the tension on the lock no longer works and the steering wheel just eases back into the up position. Same with the lock, it will work, but I have to manually lift the pedal back up to disengage
