Probably not the best part of the forum to ask if the following LS tractor is a good one :) but what the heck. I am thinking of pulling the plug on a R4041EZ - any good or bad things I should know about?

uphere, I have the R3039 and am very pleased with it. There are a few guys here with the 4041EZ who will probably chime in shortly. I think LS is a good product overall.
Cheers,
Joe

Thanks Joe - I have an LS tractor at the moment (well a Montana but made by them) - I have had good luck with it!

I have the 4041ez. Its a pretty good machine. I have no complaints after 55 hours. I have only added a marine grade 12v power outlet to charge phone.. power my fuel pump. I have found that I rarely use the ez shift. Mostly use the clutch when cutting. Took the ez shift option because dealer offered it at the price of the standard. Factory did not have any standards available fir him when I ordered.

I have a 2010 R4010 shuttle coming up on 200 hours since I bought it in May. Compared to what I was used to in the loader department, the LL4100 loader has been a disappointment. Other than that, no complaints.

Thanks for the input lads - I still need "approval" anyways (something about a new kitchen - I wasn't listening very well)

I have a model 4020 hydro with 100 hrs on it and had only one minor issue with a hydro hose that the dealer fixed the next day.I built a wood hauling box that i can pick up with my forks that can hauls about a cord of wood at a time and have moved about 40 cords of wood from the woods to my wood pile with no problem. The engine seems to be strong and the unit built well...good luck with the kitchen!! I had to buy my other half a new dinning room table frist. I think I got the better end of the deal

What is the EZ shift transmission?
Is it like a power reverser were you can foward/reverse without clutching?

Seesm to be an automated shifter - push button clutch mechanism? Not a big fan of the new gadgets but LS seems to be pushing this on the 4041 or 4047? Prefer the std shuttle shift but the one on the lot is the EZ.

I can see a new handle already - "EZ Rider"!
