Mowing 4100 - 60 inch mower installation

Hi,

I picked up a used 60 inch deck for my 4100 and found the deck attaching hardware kit on ebay the same week. The attaching hardware was being sold by a John Deere dealer as new "old" stock. I bought it and had it shipped but I'm pretty I got a mixed bag. Some of the parts might be for a 4100 but some appear to be for a larger tractor.

Before call the dealer who sold it to me back up and tell them I have the wrong parts, I want to make sure that I know exactly what I'm talking about and be able to identify what parts are correct and what aren't or what is missing. I shoud mention that before I bid on the kit I did email them and specifically ask if it is complete and all linkages, brackets, etc are there. They confirmed it to be complete from that perspective but there could be some small items such as nuts, bolts or pins missing.

I'm wondering if there is any one out there that might have an exploded diagram of all the deck attaching parts and how they go on the tractor. Or any pictures would be helpful too. I'm not even sure if the "blocks" to use the 3pt to lift the deck are the right ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps, I forgot to mention that the part number was that I supposedly bought was LVB25138.

I just tried to look and JDParts for you, but I could not find the brackets. Can you take a picture of what you have? I have a 4110 witch is just a newer version of your 4100 so I may be able to help.

Hi,

I used your idea to look on JDParts (should have thought of that) and was finally able to find it. I did a search under model number 4010 and then there was a link to mowers and attaching assemblies for all the 4000 series tractors.
