4100 FEL question......

Back in 1/02 "rancar" posted the following statement in a thread
about 4100(s) with FEL(s);

".....most features now in the 2210 missing in the 4100 is mostly cosmetic....that is, dash indicator lights easier to read, easier maneuvering in the operator compartment, FEL joystick easier to move, and addressing a FEL problem that existed with the 4100, that is loads tending to fall out of the bucket when in a raised position and curled backwards. Loads would tend to fall onto the 4100's hood."

If I buy a 410 loader for my 4100, I am assuming it is one of the newer
FEL(s) for the 4110....would it resolve this problem ? As a newbie
FEL operator, I do not want to drop rocks and dirt on my hood (and possibly the operator). Also, does anyone know if this is a problem
with the 4210 or 4310 ?

I have had my 4110 w/410 FEL since 10/02. I have moved dirt, rocks, mulch, wood, assorted debris and have yet to have anything fall back over on the hood. Maybe I have just been lucky.

I have used the 410 FEL on my 4100 for a year and a half or so. I have never had a problem with anything dropping back on the tractor. Actually, I don't think the FEL curls back enough. It seems more likely that I will drop something off the front than back towards the tractor. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment for how how much the bucket curls when completely rolled up?

I have a 4100 with the 410 loader. I'm sorry to report that it's not too hard to roll fire wood off the back/top of the bucket onto the hood. I have two nice dents to prove it.

It's not a problem if you are aware of the possibility.
