Can any 4100 owners tell me how much ground clearance their tractor has with the R1 tires? JD doesn't seem to include this information on their spec sheets. I'm comparing the 4100 to the Kubota B7500 which has 12 inches of clearance. Thanks!

Gertie,

From the JD 4100 operator's manual, front axle ground clearance is listed as 12.7" for both the Bar(R1) and Industrial(R4) tires. 12.3" with Turfs.

Gotta love that GREEN /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Gertie,
Supposedly R1 tires give 12.3" clearance.
Like any tractor, the clearance will vary with load; both bucket and 3 pt hitch. I went thru all the comparisons last year before I bought. I bought JD because of the quick release loader options and an outstanding dealer.
