4100 New

What should I pay for a new deere 4100 with loader? Bar tires and wheel weights also. I am new to tractors. Need some ideas.

I had a Springfield, MO dealer (in February) for a 4100 with loader and turf tires quote me the price of $14,000.
I do not know if that is a good price or not. It doesn't sound too bad, but not great, since I believe at list price the tractor and a loader would come out at about $14,700. I have not yet gotten other quotes since I do not plan to actually purchase the tractor until mid-summer.

is that quote on a gear or HST? HST is considerably more $
Depending on how many they have on the lot, the 4100HST's I found in NC ran from 11,900 to 13000, the loaders ran from 1900 to 2150. You might want to consider the industrial tire if you are going to use a loader, gives more traction and I found that they don't tear up a lawn if you're careful.

I got a quote of 11,300 for a 4100 hst 4wd. Is the loader a $2,600 option?

the prices I got were from 1900 to 2150 for a loader.

The web site "jdlawns.com" is a Deere dealer 's site which will give list price (I think) on Deere tractors and attachements. The prices are high, but will provide a starting point for negotiating with a dealer.

Just signed agreement to purchase a JD 4100, with loader, 54"mower, and turf tires (all in stock). Price is $15,850.
