I also just took delivery of a 4100, loader and R-4 tires for 13,200 from a dealer near Lebanon, TN.
I debated between the Kubota 21 HP, 7500 and the 4100 by JD. I thought the Kubota engine was more responsive but I determined there was not any way to operate the hydro peddle and brakes at the same time as they both require your right foot for operation. The JD brakes are on the left with the hydro peddle on the right. I also had a problem with floppy fenders on the Kubota. The JD fenders were solid with grab handles. Since using the JD for 2 days now, I like the 4100 even better than I thought I would. Good Luck to all.
