Have read many of the threads and would like someone to double check my conclusions if possible. I need to go to an after market oil and hydro filter since my dealer closed up shop shortly after I purchased the tractor.
From comments on the board it would appear my 4110 can use the following oil filters, WIX 51182, NAPA 1324, 1182 or 1311. The hydro filter should be the WIX 51621. I have not located a thread which mentioned a part number for the fuel element or air filter element. Any help there would be much appreciated.
Also perhaps a silly question... Without going into a long story... I have NO confidence in the knowledge of the defunct dealership. There is a tank with a filter under the floor board next to the PTO flow valve. One person at the dealership said that needed to be filled with 80 gear oil as it was independent of the transmission. Another said no, it contains the same hydro fluid as the transmission.
Which is correct ???? At the time of purchase I also purchased the full shop manual and it seems to me the fill point at the rear / axle satisfies the entire hydro system.
PTO, FEL and transmission.
Please help.
BTW - rebuilding / cleaning the PTO valve assembly (to include wiring) does not help with the intermittent PTO non-op problem.
