4110 Grease Zerks

I need to replace a few broken grease zerks and questioning are the grease zerks Metric or standard regular american thread on the 4110?

I am 99% sure that they would be metric.

Thanks Galen. Wanted to be sure as the tractor is located at the weekend place.

It depends. The tractor would have metric zerk fittings. The ML112 loader (if there is one) would not be metric (manufactured in Kansas).

Good point. I think I will pick assorted packs of metric and American.

Old thread here but was wondering if anyone knows what size the zerks are is on the front ball joints (just inside the tires on the steering rod). A 7mm socket fits them perfectly, but I'm not sure the male thread is the same size. Anyone know?

Keep in mind that some folks use the British pipe thread standards.....like in our Kioti so don't know how prevalent this is...

Mahindra 4540 Zerk Sizes

All the zerks I sized with a Grease Fitting Thread Tester, Type Gage from Grainger were a Brass Metric M8 X 1.25 into a steel pin, Grainger has the same size zerk but in a zinc plated steel. I ordered some so I could have extra since my dealer didn't have the size in stock, the threads are the same so I'm hoping they work.

They did work so I don't have to worry about waiting on Mahindra or the Mahindra dealer in this area for zerks.
