I never thought I would be considering this brand, but after finding out that NH and Massey are made over seas, I figured what the heck. I looked at Montana's firtst and was impressed with the price for the tractor. Today while out looking at new trucks I stumbled upon a Mahindra dealer that had a bunch sitting around. I was even more impressed with this machine than the Montana. It is such a heavy built looking machine. I loved what I saw on it and the space was amazing. Any one that has one please let me know how you like it. I could see what the guy in the review section was saying about the exposed steering ram, but I love to fabricate and some 5/16 steel cut and welded in the right locations would make a nice guard for this. Any comments are welcome, good or bad. And what prices are you guys seeing in them throughout the country? Thanks. Oh yea, my head hurts after standing out in the heat so I am not thinking strait so I know the andswer is simple, what is the catch for the clutch pedal for?

HI! The Mahindra 4110 is a great tractor. I spent about 3 months shopping and finally bought a 4110 last month, it was a 2004 model with R-4 tires. along with the tractor I got the ML112 loader, quick attatch system, bucket and forks for a package price of $19800 but prices seem to be regional. I just wrote a review on it last night so it should be posted in the review section in the next day or two. In a nutshell it's a solid powerfull tractor with lots of standard features that are optional on most other tractors in that price range, The only thing I don't like is the fuel tank behind the seat blocks the view around the hitch area and is kinda awkward when filling from a can but all the plus's of the tractor more than makes up for it. but which ever brand you buy I hope it gives you many years of depenable service. Happy Tractoring!

I think the catch you are refering to is likely a catch to hold the clutch peddle down if the machine is stored or left unused for long periods of time to pevent the clutch disk from rusting/sticking fast to the pressure plate and flywheel.

I bought a 4110 in May and love it. I shopped around and gaithered info for about four months before making my purchase, and do not regret my choice one bit.

The clutch pedal catch is to use during storage to keep everything working free in the event moisture causes rust to form on the flywheel.

I bought my 4110 new in Feb. 2002, but I believe it was produced in 2001. For the first 2 1/2 years it saw plenty of use in Tenn. on my property working in a rocky creek, bushogging 10 acres regularly, clearing wooded area etc. For the past year I have used it commercially here in Florida clearing land and doing alot of fill & grading work. I have right at 850 hours on it now, has always been kept outdoors but well-maintained. It is one good tractor. Earlier this year I had a problem with some broken engine mounting bolts but since my tractor was produced Mahindra has added extra FEL frame braces to the 4110 and I expect this will take care of this stress point. Mahindra supplied me with the additional braces after I made my repairs, even though my tractor was out of warranty. As far as your concern on the "exposed" steering rams, I don't think there is a need to worry about them at all. My tractor has seen some terribly rough terrain and been in alot of water & mud and have had no problems whatsoever. The exterior wiper seals on the cylinder must be extremely good- I still have absolutely no leakage nor scarring of the rams after all the severe use mine has had. If I had to do it over again, I would buy another 4110.

I bought a new 4110 in June 2002. It now has 950 hours on it. We use it for a variety of things on the farm and have worked it pretty hard. So far so good.
