Snow 4140XR seat switch

Just mounted our front blower, wasn't too bad, my wife uses tractor to clean our driveway but always has seat switch killing tractor, I do not want to disconnect it but is there a way to adjust it?

Depending on your model, there should be a weight adjustment knob on your seat. It a simple spring screw. Turn it all the way down. You will have little suspension in the seat, but should not shut off the tractor unless she bounces way up.

My wife had a similar issue. I simply jumped the switch and never looked back.

If it was just me on tractor I would not be afraid of disconnecting it but with my wife and a snowblower I want it off if she gets off seat, its just too touchy now but will try adjusting the suspension

That seat switch should connect with as small as 5 lbs so it would sound like it is a seat adjustment issue. The seat should adjust for height, weight, and front/back. Between adjusting the fore/aft, height, and finally the weight there should be a position she can sit and keep the switch
