4200 no lift w/3 point

I have a 2000 4200 John Deere that I was removing snow with the back blade and the 3 point hitch will not lift. It was working fine until this. I took the 3 point hitch arms off and I can lift the 2 arms that are connected to the rockshaft up and down freely

Hard to help with an answer with so limited details.
Lift control lever still attached?
What was reason the hitch arms were removed?

Anything else that may have led up to this failure to operate?

Maybe remove the seat and inspect the control lever connections.

Let us know what you find.

Move all the control levers around. One may not be in the correct position.

Only one lever that operates the 3pt arms (item D in pic).

Some feedback from the OP will help find the problem.
