I just got a 4210 with a 7 Iron 60 inch mid mount mower. The raised height should be set so the mower deck goes up to 1/8" below the front upstop (anyone who has one of these should understand this; it's the same set up as on my old 750 so I'm well versed in setting these up; it's adjusted with the yolk). I noticed that the mower is mounted so that the metal pillar on the mower deck that is supposed to line up underneath the front upstop and bump into it, and where you measure the 1/8' gap, is actually back about 1/4" so it misses the upstop completely - it does not line up. The mower is mounted exactly as the manual says it should be for 60" on a 4210 (connect the draft arm to the middle hole of the front support). If it was mounted on the first hole of the front support (like for a 60" mower on a 4310), then everything would line up, but I'm afraid it would put the right front mower wheel too close to the right front tractor wheel. Anyone ever seen this before? Thanks.
