Has anyone had any experience with the rake on lawns? Does it rip it up at all? Does it do a good job at moving small twigs or is it better for leaves?

I'm having a hard time posting a pic but I'm not talking about the power sweeper but the thing that looks like a spring tine leaf rake but bigger.

That's it. My phone was taking screen shots in some format that Tapatalk doesn't like.

I've got the rake and I love it. I have tested it with the tines staged for pulling, pushing, and alternating. Ultimately, pulling and in float works best for me. If the pile of what you are moving gets too big, it will float over the top so then you get to go to manual. I have used this for mainly leaves and cleanup after dropping trees. It will handle pretty good sized stuff.

As far as tearing up the lawn, I think that depends on the operator and the lawn. It will leave little slices/scars through bare spots but those disappear with the rain.

Thanks! This is exactly the feed back I was looking for. I think I'd like one but not if it was total junk.

I don't think the price is too bad and it is one of my most used attachments. It had its faults like anything else but I find it indispensable. The tines are also easily replaceable. Go for it.

If you're going to order one, consider getting a bunch of other stuff, too, as shipping one item is a bit costly. ;)

Yeah. I would love to get the 4 in 1 bucket as well.

I've also got the 4-in-1 bucket. I've used that a great deal as well. I bought mine with the teeth but ended up taking them off (for now) since I haven't needed them yet. Actually, aside from the rear wheels on the mower deck and throwing a tooth on the mini-hoe, I don't know that I have any real complaints about the attachments I have.

I've used the 4-in-1 for grabbing piles of small stuff (larger stuff gets the utility grapple), clearing an area at the cabin by ripping small trees out of the ground, moving big rocks, etc. The jaws of the bucket have some very aggressive teeth on them so if you clamp down, whatever you are grabbing normally stays put. The front/rear edges of the bucket as well as the dozer piece have got a blade on them and are pretty sharp.

I've got the forks, mini-hoe w/ thumb, utility grapple, light material bucket, 60" mower, post hole digger, trailer hitch, 4-in-1, spring rake, power rake, 60" snow blade w/ the rubber scraper. Maybe some things I'm not thinking of right at the moment, so if you want any details on any of them, I'd be glad to help where I can.
